Love-A-Bull in Austin, Texas & California Bull Rescue in Northern California!

Love-A-Bull Rescue, based in Austin, TX - Started in 2003 as a meet-up group comprised of owners and their dogs who wanted to form a community dedicated to people who wanted to see change. “LOVE-A-BULL was organized to educate and advocate on behalf of the American Pit Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (all breeds commonly referred to as “pit bulls”) and pit bull mixes. The message we try to spread is that they are dogs, just like any other dog, they just happened to be called pit bulls.” In 2008, the 100% volunteer-run rescue achieved 501(c)(3) status to be fully able to continue to pursue their mission and goals. In 2020, they saved a record 200 pit bull-type dog’s lives.

California Bully Rescue - is a foster and volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that saves Bully breeds throughout the state of California. CBR primarily rehabilitates shelter dogs medically, behaviorally, and emotionally before opening them up for adoption. They exist to reform the dog agenda through intentional rescue, educational resources, and support structural change in the community in order to give each dog a fighting second chance. When you adopt a dog with California Bully Rescue, not only are you giving a deserving dog another chance at life, but you are also becoming a family member of the CBR community, and you can have confidence in knowing that they will always be there to support you.
